I visited Apollo Clinic for my annual health check-up and had an appointment with Dr Shilpi Mohan. Her courtesy and tone create a friendly atmosphere wherein could speak without hesitation and had the confidence that I would get back a honest and comprehensive picture of my current health. She recommended further analysis to ensure that my heart is hale and healthy. During the next three days, I was in constant discussion with her over text messages and she was very patient in answering my queries. My TMT test was positive in 2013 and I was looking for a good Cardiologist for further advice. Luckily, I went to Columbia Asia Hospital and met Dr Shilpi Mohan. She saw my TMT report and suggested CT Angiography and suggested some blood tests for Sugar, Vitamin D and Vitamin B12. There was blockage in my arteries and I was deficient of Vitamin D3 as well as Vitamin B12. She put me on medication and repeated my CT Angiography after one year. There was reversal in the arterial blockages. Heart patients requires regular check-up and follow up and I am continuously in touch with Dr Shilpi, even though she has moved to Hyderabad. Dr Shilpi is passionate about her work. She is very knowledgeable and has very good understanding about medicines. She is compassionate, a very good human being and honest. As a heart patient, I used to visit Apollo Clinic, which enjoys a good reputation and honour. Dr Shilpi Mohan is one of the finest cardiologists one can come across. She wears a smile, is full of life and energy that does not show off her abilities, skills and domain expertise, to not only diagnose but also help any patient with effective monitoring and follow-up. Even a casual chat with some of those helped by her, cutting across backgrounds, status or gender have confirmed that if one needs to be cared for and concerned about, it is guaranteed with the holistic treatment one gets from Dr Shilpi.
